Helping Hands

I Peter 4:11b "...If anyone serves, he should do it with the strength GOD Provides, so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ. To him be the glory and power for ever and ever."

The Helping Hands Ministry is intended to help those in our church and community who are unable to perform small tasks for themselves. Most tasks are small, simple jobs, ranging from something as simple as mowing a lawn or cleaning gutters to more complicated things like putting on a roof. Our focus is inward first; widows in the church and then widows in the community. The Bible instructs us to care for the widows first. We then will focus on people with needs in the church and in the community.

The intent of the Helping Hands Ministry is to allow our church to show love and concern to those in our church family. We will extend this ministry by reaching out to meet the needs of people in the community, mirroring the love of Jesus Christ.

A committee has been set up to consider projects, decide which ones will or can be taken on, and prioritizing what order those projects will be completed.
